Security Alert – Your Flash Drive is not safe!

I carry around 64 Gigs of stuff on my keychain, how about you? What is all that info? Well, I carry my passwords, pictures, security scanning programs, some home movies, music files the usual. Not to worry, everything is safe, it’s attached to my keychain, how could I lose it, right? You don’t have to lose this in order to have your data stolen. Suit and tie on, I was pulling into the valet for the theatre the other night. Just as I was starting to hand over my keys to the valet, it occurred to me, holy cow, my flash drive! Here I was, voluntarily handing over all of my personal information just like that! I was going to hand the guy this information, and be gone for several hours. How difficult would it be for him to jam that into a laptop and copy the contents off? I mean really, how difficult? Needless to say, from now on, I’m going to actually use my valet key, and not just hand over my data and walk away smiling.
